Buyer Beware

You are about to spend many hundreds of thousands of your hard earned dollars on a house that you know very little about.

The vendor is required by law to provide certain information as set out in the Conveyancing Act and Prime Conveyancing will take you through each of these documents, but the Contract for Sale will not show you the exact boundaries of the property nor if the property has building defects, a termite infestation or if there are any illegal structures.

In New South Wales the law is still undoubtedly ‘buyer beware’ when it comes to the purchase of residential property and as such it is important that these risks are explained in plain English along with the measures that can be taken to reduce or eliminate potential problems with your new purchase.

Prime Conveyancing have a team of trusted inspectors, surveyors and consultants that are happy to assist Prime Conveyancing clients and the costs and benefits are fully explained before we engage any inspector- after all its your property and therefore your decision.

What’s the bottom line when purchasing property in the Sutherland Shire, Parramatta or Sydney region? Don’t sign any contract without having Prime Conveyancing look over the contract first.
